Nominated “Woman of the Year” 2004
by Business and Professional Women-DTC Chapter

A native of New Jersey, I moved from the Jersey Shore to the Denver metro area in the early 70's and have found the Colorado climate and spectacular scenery quite favorable for my interests for biking, golfing and hiking. I am passionate about maintaining a lifestyle that integrates my personal interests with my desire to encourage others to live their purpose and do it effortlessly.

Blending 20 years expertise in Human Resources in both the public and private sector, with an emphasis in high-tech, BS in Management and professional coach training through CoachU, I inspire individuals to discover their passion and live their potential. By guiding individuals to change their beliefs and attitudes, they discover their purpose and integrate it into their personal and business lives.

I have coached and trained employees, managers, career seekers, and individuals in personal and business transitions to develop clarity and focus, set realistic goals, achieve balance and make significant changes to create success on their terms. I believe everyone has within them the personal power to create the kind of life that will bring true joy and happiness. By tapping into the wisdom within, clients experience their true nature and live their lives in the flow where life happens effortlessly.

My Philosophies

Life doesn't need to be a struggle. Instead it can be journey of discovery and choices that lead to richness, expression, passion and fulfillment. When you respond to what comes your way by saying 'yes' to all there is, and letting go of the outcome, you can experience the effortlessness of living in the flow. So how does one get into the flow? I believe there are a couple of principles that, when embraced and lived, create an effortless life.

Live in the Present
Do you find yourself saying: when I retire, when the kids leave, when I get more money, when I get a new job, when I have more time, when…? You can plan for the future while living in the moment but don't miss out on what life has to offer NOW. Be conscious of the people, circumstances and events that are there for you to see and experience. The present is all there is and when you stay in the present, the future takes care of itself. Remember, "the past is a history, the future a mystery, this is the gift, that's why they call it the present." Be here NOW.

Practice Gratitude
Everyday I give thanks for the blessings in my life and recognize the beauty in all things. When things just don't go right, I try to focus and be grateful for what is right. Sometimes, it's hard to find what is right but you can always be grateful for your health, safety, freedom, friends, family and job or whatever you have to feel deeply grateful for. None of those working for you? Try being thankful for the sky, stars, moon, flowers, trees, rain and rainbows; just the fact that you experience another sunrise is something to be grateful for.

Let Go of Fear and Worry
Often what we spend time worrying about never occurs. When it does, it's usually because it's out of our control and there was nothing we could do about it anyway. We spend time thinking about what might happen instead of living in the present and allowing life to take its course. When we worry, we block our energy. When our energy is blocked we stop the flow. Just like a river that has been blocked by a damn, we become immobile, unable to experience flow. We allow fear to take over and stop us dead in our tracks from being all we can be. Why is that? Why does fear have such a grip on us? What is it we fear? FEAR is just False Evidence Appearing Real. Instead of retreating, we need to run toward our fears and face them. The best way to handle fear is to do all you know how to do, take action and then let go. Someone once said: "Fear knocked, faith answered, no one was there!"

Trust and Turn it Over
After letting go of fear and worry, trust and turn it over. Know that all things work out as they should. There are no wrong decisions--only choices. And, while all choices have 'consequences', know that what happens is exactly as it should be for what we need to learn at this stage of our growth. Let go of the picture we hold that defines how it 'should' be, let go of the outcome and trust that it will be perfect. It's not for us to know why it happened, but it is for us to trust that there is a reason and it's none of our business.
My favorite bumper sticker reads: "People Plan…God laughs…Just wing it!
